Antwerp 1920, when the dives

they became a symbol of inclusion

When trampoline jumping first appeared, at the 1908 London Olympics, it was a men’s discipline. Only 12 years later, in Antwerp, women were given the opportunity to finally soar and then immerse themselves in water. the “The Divers” project comes to life precisely from this.

And so the old yellowed snapshots become the creative inspiration for dreamlike paintings and installations. This curiosity allowed me to go back more than 100 years waving the values of inclusion and gender equality.

This collection of works on female divers has been enriching my artistic repertoire for some years now, they are works on paper (in other collections also on canvas) with a numbering starting from NO.01 + The year of production, and so it is repeated infinite.
